We are dedicated to players both on and off the ice, focusing on individual skill development, self-discipline, teamwork, positive reinforcement and consistent evaluation.  From our coaches, staff and players, we pride ourselves on being the best player development program in New Jersey!

First class coaching and a commitment to excellence have always been the Hallmark of the Skylands Kings, and we are proud to be a part of the North American 3 (NA3HL).

The primary mission of the NA3HL, which is managed organizationally by the North American Hockey League (NAHL), is to provide a structured developmental environment for student-athletes at the Tier III junior level, who have the ability and the aspirations to play at the collegiate level. the common goal is to produce athletes that are committed to excellence in academics as well as athletics. By providing a high level of competition, the players will be given the resources to contribute and succeed at the next level of hockey and education.

Entering into its seventh season in 2016-17, the NA3HL, on of 11 USA Hockey-sanctioned Tier III Junior Leagues, serves as one of the top training grounds in the country by providing the best coaching, exposure and developmental vehicles available for student-athletes in its classification.

In addition to its regular-season schedule and playoffs, the NA3HL, which boasts a geographical footprint with 47 teams in 21 states, allows players to compete and excel academically at home, and will participate in the NAHL’s high-exposure events, which attract hundreds of college, junior and professional coaches and scouts.

In 2016-17, the NA3HL teams will compete in a 40+ game regular season and will take part in two Showcases throughout the season. There will be playoffs to determine a champion in March of 2017.
